At SJS invigorating encouragement for extra-curricular activities is provided to all the students. The school has a well-designed co- curricular program for the total personality development of students. All efforts are taken by the teachers to chisel the hidden treasure of creativity of the students.

Music and drawing are compulsory in this school. Dance classes are optional but students are encouraged to join it by the school administration. Through these activities the school wishes to inculcate in the students an aesthetic sense and love for one's own culture and tradition. This gives an opportunity for students in their academic excellence and career formation. Games and sports, different competitions, variety of exhibitions, Yoga classes, talks by eminent person in different fields are organised time to time at school and outside the school.
